I actively maintain a blog where I explore a variety of topics, from economic research to broader subjects that pique my interest. Feel free to dive in and explore different perspectives and insights here.
Welcome to my personal website!
My name is Cheikh, a PhD Candidate in Economics at Université Laval, in Quebec, Canada. I specialize in partially identified models, applying them to labor economics topics, including participation, transitions, and retirement. My approach often incorporates the analysis of structured and unstructured data, respectively through probability elicitations and semi-structured interviews, while focusing on identifying non-classical measurement errors such as rounding, bunching, and ambiguity. I also entertain a deep interest in health economics, development economics and public policies.
When not buried in research, I'm all about music, sports, and movies. Also, I sometimes joke that in another life, I’d be a Latin American novelist—as long as I didn’t have to wear a mustache.
